Meet Morly Shapira – Passionate Health & Wellness Advocate
Welcome to a journey of Health and Empowerment!
Greetings! I’m Morly Shapira, your dedicated certified life coach focused on Health and Wellness. With a blend of academic knowledge and practical wisdom, I am here to support you in your journey towards optimal health.
I have over seven years of Health and Wellness coaching experience, applying my extensive knowledge. I am a licensed brain health trainer by Dr. Daniel Amen, a leading psychiatrist and an authority in brain health research. Dr. Amen discusses various factors that affect brain health, such as blood flow, inflammation, infection, and many others.
I hold a certification from Harvard Medical School’s Executive Program in Health and Wellness: Designing a Sustainable Nutrition Plan. Their program addresses six pillars of wellness: nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress, substance avoidance and social support.
For many years I owned businesses related to health and wellness. I utilized both Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Thought Pattern Management (TPM), in which I am a certified master, along with other mental techniques in order to help clients decrease stress, resolve internal conflicts and limiting beliefs, overcome fears, let go of traumatic experiences, help the body heal various ailments and better manage pain.
I specialized in various therapeutic modalities of energy healing and massage therapy and worked with a variety of individuals, groups and organizations. Prior to that I owned and managed a Curves women’s gym, where we offered circuit training on exercise machines and a nutrition program.
I have a BA in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Organizational Behavior.
My Holistic Approach
My approach is integrative and personalized; I look at the person as a whole – mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally.
I believe that our feelings and physical health go hand in hand. For example, if we feel stressed, our blood pressure might go up; On the other hand, if we eat a lot of processed food, we might feel depressed and anxious. So, not only do I offer advice on things like nutrition, sleep and exercise, but I also support people with managing their worries and life stresses.
Personal Motivation
My mother’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis 17 years ago propelled me into extensive research on brain health, further intensified by my own genetic predisposition to Alzheimer’s. This discovery has increased my motivation even further to get the most cutting edge information about ways to optimize brain performance and prevent cognitive decline.
My father’s sudden passing away at age 61 from a heart attack was shocking to me as he seemed to always be in great health. Following that I started to devote a lot of time and effort to researching cardiovascular health, aiming to help myself and others to live longer and in good health.
My MISSION AND Focus
From a young age, I have been driven by a mission to enhance the well-being of others, addressing both emotional and physical health.
My mission is to empower you in achieving optimal heart and brain health.
I specialize in helping people especially in their forties and beyond, and the ones caring for them. I provide guidance in topics such as nutrition, supplements, stress, sleep, exercise, toxins, social support, meaning and life priorities in order to improve health. There are many common factors that affect both heart and brain.
Heart Health
I help my clients maintain and improve arterial health and blood circulation. Doing so improves conditions like hypertension, angina and atherosclerosis and reduces the chance of experiencing heart attacks and strokes.
BRAIN Health
Another area of my expertise is optimizing the brain. In brain health I guide individuals and groups in ways to maintain and improve memory, focus and clarity.
